Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Course Description

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is one of the Manufacturing languages or a system for defining and communicating engineering tolerances.GD&T consists of dimensions, tolerances, symbols, definitions, rules, and conventions that can be used to precisely communicate the functional requirements for the location, orientation, size, and form of each feature of the design model. It tells the manufacturing staff and machines what degree of accuracy and precision is needed on each controlled feature of the part
